Where Access Meets Opportunity
We are passionate parents/guardians, students, alumni, educators, businesses, colleges, technical/trade schools, community organizations, volunteers, and stakeholders. Our goal is to ensure all students have access to and opportunities for education and training, employment, college and career support and resources, and the social and emotional learning that will prepare them for the 21st century workforce.

Education & Industry Partnership
Together, we will create positive and proven results for students, families, employers, workers, the rte. 9 corridor, and surrounding communities. Through the Colonial School District Center for Work Based Learning & Career Services, employers will receive assistance finding candidates and screening prospective employees.
The Economic Impact
The economic impact to Colonial Nation families, using Delaware’s minimum wage rate of $8.25/hr. at a minimum of 20 hours a week, is more than $8,000 added to each student’s household and over $2 million total to Delaware’s economy annually.
20 hours a week minimum
dollars added to each household
Please note that some of our students are making more than the minimum wage and are working more than 20 hours a week, which makes the economic impact even greater.
